SHS PhD Student Awarded Fulbright-RGC Hong Kong Research Scholarship

Our PhD Student has been awarded a Fulbright-RGC Hong Kong Research Scholarship

We are pleased to announce that Mr William Choi Tsun Man, a PhD student in the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, has been awarded a Fulbright-RGC Hong Kong Research Scholarship.

The Fulbright-RGC Hong Kong Research Scholar Award Programme was launched in the 2006-07 academic year by the Research Grants Council (RGC) and the Consulate General of the United States in Hong Kong, to support Hong Kong PhD students who wish to undertake research work in the USA.

The competition is always very keen.  William was selected on the strength of his application and an interview. He will start his half-year stay in the USA from September 2017.

We are glad that William has decided to further his career in research, having graduated from our Faculty, which has the only Bachelor’s degree course in Speech and Hearing Sciences in Hong Kong.  Many congratulations on his achievement.
